Q.   How can I advertise or list my business on this website?

A.   You may advertise or list your business on our website by visiting the Register link in the upper right corner and then filling in your information for an account.  Once you have registered you may then login to your account and click on the Business Directory tab then select post new listing.  Next, you can select the type of listing that you want for your business and provide your information through our online form.   Your general Business Listing will be added after it has been reviewed, usually 24-48 hours.

Featured listings require more effort on our behalf to design a featured ad that will go into the main page rotation.  Featured listings give a visitor to TheGeorgiaMountains.com a preview of your business and/or products.  You can design it yourself and place it automatically or contact us to put a featured listing together for you.

You can also run banner advertisements at the top of each page or sponsor a page.  Please check the
advertising page for options and multi-placement discounts.

Q.   How much does it cost to list my business?

A.   A general listing is free!  Featured ads cost only 129 per year.  This fee is paid at the time of listing and runs for 12 calendar months from the time your ad goes live.  We do not bill by the month.  Under our current promotion we can create your art work for free and we offer consulting services if you would like to have or build upon an existing website.  Costs for websites are based on the level of complexity and several other factors.  We treat each customer as a unique business model and we would be glad to contact you for a free consultation.

Q.   What business information can I actually list?

A.   Depending on the type of listing that you select, general or featured, you may list any of the following: Business Name, Address for Google Maps, Phone Number, Fax Number, Business Email, Website URL, Business Logo, Business Description and more.

Q.   Can I list more than one business?

A.   Yes you can, from within your account add as many businesses as you have information for.

Q.   I do not see my category on your website?

A.   If you do not see your category listed on our main drop down menu then please visit the Business Directory and type in part of your category keyword in the search text box. This will return a list of possible matches for your business.  If you are registering your business please select a category that best fits your business.  We will also add a new category if one is not available.

Q.   I just listed my business and I don't see it on the website?

A.   Listing will be added after it has been reviewed, usually 24-48 hours.

Q.   I have forgotten my username to login to my account?

A.   If you have forgotten your username then please visit our Contact form and send us the Email Address you used to register with along with your business Information and we will reply back to the email of record with your Username.  Your password can then be sent to you to automatically via the Send Password utility securely.
